Effective Date: 11 August 2026 · Version 1.0
This Cookie Information notice explains how Applied Science uses cookies and similar technologies on the Platform, in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the GDPR.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. We use cookies and similar technologies (local storage) to operate the Platform and to improve your experience.
(a) Essential cookies: required for the Platform to function, including authentication, session maintenance and security. These cannot be disabled. (b) Preference cookies: remember your language and theme (light/dark) selections. (c) Analytics cookies: help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it, using aggregated, anonymised data. (d) Third-party cookies: set by Stripe (for fraud prevention on checkout) and Google (for authentication and, where connected, Calendar).
Stripe may set cookies on the checkout page to detect fraud and secure payments; these are governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy. Google sets cookies for authentication (Google Sign-In) and, where you authorise it, for Google Calendar integration. We do not control these third-party cookies and recommend reviewing the relevant provider’s cookie policy.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies are required for core functionality; disabling them will prevent you from logging in or using the Platform. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" option, which we honour where technically feasible.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent preference and analytics cookies are retained for up to 12 months, after which they expire. Authentication cookies expire on logout or after the platform session window.
We may update this Cookie Information notice as our use of cookies changes. The "Effective Date" reflects the most recent version.
